BEATLES aims to transform agri-food systems by promoting a shift towards climate-smart agriculture and smart farming technologies, aligning with the Farm to Fork and Biodiversity Strategies and the CAP. The project views the agri-food value chain as an interconnected system where stakeholder collaboration leads to systemic innovations. Through a selection of agri-food chains across the EU, BEATLES will engage stakeholders in co-creating behavioral insights and identifying barriers and motivators for sustainable practices. These insights will inform transformative pathways, business strategies, and policy recommendations to promote fair, healthy, and eco-friendly food systems. By involving diverse value chain actors, BEATLES seeks to enhance mutual understanding of benefits and obstacles, ultimately fostering a collective movement toward climate-smart agriculture.
