Spraying drone in action: Watch how it operates and discover the benefits it brings to the agricultural field!

During the 3rd QuantiFarm meeting, held in June 2023 in Athens, we had the opportunity to experience a cutting-edge sparying drone demonstration, showcased by our partners Agricultural University of Athens (AUA), in its fields. To this end, Dinos Grivakis, Research Assosicate, provided us with an overview of how spraying drone operates in real life conditions, focusing on its technical aspects and the competitive advantage it offers. As Dinos Grivakis points out, AUA focuses on experimenting with various techniques with the use of the spraying drone, such as canopy penetration, spray drift and efficacy. This DAT is particularly useful, as its 8 liter tank covers a spray width of up to 5 meters, allowing the aircraft to cover up to 15 acres per hour.  Eager for more information on DATs?
