Short description
In this TC, a holistic smart farming solution will be implemented, based on multiple types of data (IoT soil and meteorological data, EO images, soil analyses, farm diaries, etc.) in order to help increase production efficiency and reduce costs. Advice on irrigation will be provided through the gaiasense to olive producers.
Major goals
The objective of this TC is to optimize irrigation decisions while maximizing farmers' profitability and minimizing input costs, e.g., less water use and wastage.
