COURSE A:
FOR EDUCATORS (TRAIN-THE-TRAINER)

MODULE 7

Methodological part of guidelines and training to help advisors use all DIA modules

Introduction: In this module, trainees will acquire practical insights into using the DIA educational resources and how to facilitate the learning process during the national training sessions. Strategies to maintain learners’ engagement will be presented, including the selection of appropriate learning methods according to audience specificities as well as the incorporation of compelling elements such as use cases and video testimonials from farmers who have successfully embraced DATSs. Additionally, the module will provide trainees with design and planning guidelines for effective DATSs demonstrations to both farm advisors and farmers. It will also explore the particularities of advising farm advisors and farmers, offering strategies to address challenges related to communication, cultural differences, and resistance to change. The session will also feature an open discussion with guidelines on how to scale up the DIA methodological and technical components based on the specific needs, characteristics, and requests of training session participants
